Hello, I'm Sina!

Raised in Cyprus, building AI in the Netherlands. I'm finishing my B.Sc. in ICT and Artificial Intelligence at Fontys, and four internships in, I ship computer vision and machine learning systems that solve real problems for real clients. Right now I'm building an AI verification tool for engineering quality assurance at Vanderlande.

    Graduation Intern — Artificial Intelligence

    Vanderlande

    Building an AI-assisted verification tool for engineering quality assurance: synthetic data pipeline, classical ML and deep learning models, grouped cross-validation and out-of-distribution testing.

  2. SEP 2025 — FEB 2026

    AI & Deep Learning Intern

    HAS University

    Built an insect identification pipeline (DIOPSIS) with CLAHE, OpenCV, Meta DINOv2 embeddings and clustering, with a human validation step before classification.

    AI Intern

    Vanderlande

    Independently delivered a product classification project for the warehousing sector — planning, model selection, evaluation and documentation.

    DAP THEWI

    Built a CNN-based livestock identification proof of concept with Ultralytics YOLO and OCR for ear tags, with image and live camera input.

    TRAINED ON DATA

    Every project starts with the data. I explore it, clean it, and build synthetic data when the real thing is confidential.

  2. 02

    TESTED WITH RIGOUR

    Grouped cross validation, out of distribution test sets and honest error analysis, so the model holds up outside the notebook.

  3. 03

    BUILT FOR PEOPLE

    Engineers, farmers and researchers have to trust it, so the result has to be simple to run and easy to read.
